How can I fix an audio/video sync issue with an hdtv with comcast?
I recently moved, and purchased the LG 42lh30 hdtv, with comcast cable. I noticed that the audio and video get slightly out of sync, with the audio being delayed by about half a second. Sometimes it gets worse, sometimes better. i have a coax cable running from the wall to comcast's box, and an hdmi cable from the box to my tv.
Does anyone know what the problem is/how I can fix it? Thanks.
Call Comcast. What you are probably experiencing is lip-synch errors caused by laser clipping at the node or at the main telecommunications center (MTC).That's a network problem, not something you can fix. If you're friendly with your neighbors ask them if they are experiencing the same problem. If indeed it is a network issue they will be having the same issue.
