Why do people do this!?!?
Okay, I was in a restaurant with my baby who was 2 month old at the time and this couple was staring at my baby so I looked at them & they were like" awww she's so cute" and I said thank you. After that the lady asks me " It is a girl isn't it?" ( I didn't want to get an attitude or nothing because they were a older couple may in their 50s). Now the reason I am so baffled about this is because my daughter was in a pink car seat and she was dressed in pink with a headband on with a bow on it and she's not bald headed. So why do people act gender challenged when it comes to babies?

ok people I understand people not wanting to get the gender wrong but what parent dresses their son in all pink head to toe. I can understand if the baby had unisex clothes on.
I have found that it just doesn't matter how girly our babies look, people will always question the gender. Maybe so they don't get it wrong and are embarrassed if, for some odd reason, someone has their little boy dressed in all pink with cute bows and a sign that says "Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice". Who knows.
