how much should i ask for when nannying?
i currently work in a daycare where i had two little boys in my infant classroom. they are now both 2 going on 3 and each of their parents are expecting new babies in the summer. these families are not related, but are good friends. they have asked me, recently, if i would be interested in nannying for both of their little boys and the new babies in the fall. there would be 4 children total, two 3 year olds and 2 young infants. i live in massachusetts and was wondering what i should charge weekly for 40 to 50 hours of work a week...
It does depend on how old you are, but assuming you're 18-25, I'd say $250-300/week from EACH family
Also if you can get them to take taxes out (it's their legal responsibility) do it.
It is illegal to watch kids from more than one family. . .but honestly, I was doing it (I really don't think I need a license to watch 2 kids!). Just hope they are really nice people and won't go after you if anything happens. Just thought id warn you that if they report you out of anger or something you can get introuble

One of my childhood memories are the most expensive in Disneyland. An annual ritual that my family looks forward to our trip to Disneyland every year. My memories of the most expensive was to see the period costume characters, but at the time, I thought I was starting to see the real Mickey Mouse.
