Margo is one year more tan four times as old as her daughter, The difference of their ages is 22 years, How ol?
Margo is one year more than four times as old as her daughter, The difference of their ages is 22 years, How old is Margo?
Let x be Margo's age and y be her daughter's age. Margo is one year more than four times as old as her daughter, so x = 4y + 1. The difference of their ages is 22, so x - y = 22. Solve by substitution:
x - y = 22 (substitute 4y + 1 for x)
4y + 1 - y =22
3y + 1 = 22
3y = 21
y = 7
x = 4y + 1
x = 4(7) + 1
x = 28 + 1
x = 29
ANSWER: Margo is 29 years old.

Just One Year

The 20th century whole and for a few years ago, the worldwide network of fixed-line telecommunications, public and private, have been built with technology designed for voice communications in telephony.
In the 1960s, the use of computers has grown rapidly and opened the era of digital communication today, where disclosure of information life in all its forms was the greatest use of telecommunications networks safe in terms of expenditure.
The history of mobile (cellular) networks has followed a similar pattern, but on a timescale much more compressed, only 20 years.
Telephony-based telecom is far from ideal when it comes to data communication, which in many compromises that are needed for extra equipment (and hence expenditure) and inefficient use of telecommunication resources in general.
Starts in the 1970s, the data communications industry, driven by the computer industry developed its own communication technologies and standards that have stood the test. These include Ethernet and IP (Internet Protocol). They continued to be developed to date to match the explosive demand for speed and bandwidth necessary not only for applications and particularly the Internet, but more and more video communications, including broadcast television.
In parallel, Telecommunications industry has been the development of new technologies in broadband networks including ADSL (also known as "Broadband"). Wireless broadband is also becoming available for mobile access to network to support triple play "of applications delivered to a single user equipment (telephone, internet and television).
All these developments are often called collectively Convergence of Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) is one of the largest commercial developments in the industry today.
Medium and large commercial and government organizations have generally built their own private communications networks through the years to complement the services that the public network. It have always been separate voice and data networks, while the common resource base, if possible.
We are now witnessing the last major piece in the puzzle of convergence. This is the re-engineering basic infrastructure and public-private networks to support multimedia communication in real time (voice, data and video) built. This is achieved through the deployment of pure IP switching and routing of high speed optical, "copper" and radio transmission systems, applications are independent (transparent).
These new network is fully converged called "Next Generation Networks (NGN). They require significant investment. Between 2005 and 2015 national public network operators will spend up to 40 billion dollars each (usually 5 billion U.S. dollars, 15 billion dollars) and large companies to 20 million U.S. dollars each (typically $ 5M-$ 10M).
It is rare that these changes be implemented as a project for a shot. Most of the migration for several years is the only practical approach to obtain an IP address "pure" communication infrastructure.
But, once implemented, the benefits are great for all and focus on corporate efficiency, flexibility and responsiveness to customers through:
lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) for communications up to 50% annual savings on a comparable basis at constant radius;
introduction of flexible working to all employees as required;
rationalization and consolidation of local everywhere and anywhere;
improve customer service by providing all employees (and customers themselves) to access such information or carry out any transaction, regardless of where they are at all times;
facilitate fundamental process re-design and optimization, including "the right prop, and
optimization of supply chain / demand management chain.
If you distilled all the above until, say, only two therapists vital they are as follows:
use of intellectual property (and related standards) for all types of communications, and
emergence of true mobility (effect "Martini" any service, anytime, anywhere).
It is therefore clear that supply-side companies in the communications market, with the skills, technologies, products and services that meet the needs for migration to converged communications, particularly in the areas of IP and wireless, has
any opportunity to be a great success over the next ten years.
